What each panel actually includes
Four tables, kept apart on purpose. Measured Biomarkers require a sample and cost money; Calculated Indices are arithmetic on them and cost nothing extra; Scan Measurements come off an imaging study, so they are bought with the scan rather than with a tube; Body Metrics are taken on the person rather than from a sample, so no laboratory sells one at any price. Mixing them inflates a marker count, and only the first is counted against what the marketing claims. The unit of comparison is the panel, never the company — a company selling two tiers has no single coverage.
